2001 Up Country Rebuild
Hello Guys, I have a 2001 upcountry XJ with 118k miles I am working on doing some light restoration work to.
My head has been spinning the past 2 hours trying to find replacement rear leaf springs, I read reviews stating that their Crown Automotive and Dorman leaf springs have inverted in a year or less. What high quality option is there for rear leaf springs for stock Up-country height, is the dealer the best bet? Also does anyone have factory measurements to measure front spring droop?
Thank you for your help in advance, looking for hands on experience.

I have no idea what kind of lift the Old Man Emu one would give.
Those are supposed to be the factory Up Country leafs.
Part number that everybody says on the internet and one I guy I talked to who actually used them said it is.
Factory gas tank skid?
I don't know.
I picked up a factory hitch myself but have yet to put it on so I don't know if it will play nice with the factory gas tank skid that I have on my '00.
Which I added by the way cause she did not come with one. But I have to assume it would. If both the skid and the hitch are factory.
I am also worried that it might not play nice with my factory rear tow hooks either.

I will let you know about the factory hitch, it should be here tomorrow. No one really had a picture of what the factory hitch comes with these days, I am pretty sure I am going to need to purchase the nut strips that go behind the frame, at least for the driver's side from what I can see. I will post part numbers and pictures when I get to it.

I am currently doing a resto right now and can answer all the above.
UpCountry rear leafs: Mopar 52002392AB
UpCountry front springs: Mopar 52088105 (final part number, 2001 year)
hitch and skid plate will not interfere with each other. You will need new nut strips. They use blue loc-tite at assembly and the originals will be rusted junk anyway and self destruct on disassembly. Find 5 nut, quality strips.
OME has a 2.5” leaf that will give you 1.5 if you remove one leaf. I have heard that even with the leaf removed they netted 2.5” of lift. That’s why I went original Mopar. Hard to find but you know what your getting.
