2001 XJ Intermittent Stall P0353, P0352, P0351 Codes
Trying to diagnose what is going on with my son's 2001 XJ Sport. Issue happened about 5 times over the past 6 months. While driving, the engine would suddenly shut down. Would crank but not start. Did a ton of diagnosis the first time and found fuse 18 in PDC blown (Fuel Injectors, Coil Rail, Coil Capacitor). Also replaced spark plugs at the time. Once the fuse is replaced, the vehicle starts and runs normal. Because it is an intermittent problem, I believe there is a wire grounding/shorting issue. Injector wires look OK (can see some bare wire, but I taped those ones up). Going to try to look at wires from coil rail today. Could there be something else causing this? Don't want to spend a ton of $ on this thing as we are going to sell it soon. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Look at the wiring harness from the injectors where it crosses over to the firewall at the back of the block. Common place for it to flex and break wires, or get worn through. Especailly if you've got bad mount or trans mounts. You already noted some bare wires on the injectors, so pretty easy to believe you've got other damaged wires hiding.

Thanks. I just started at PDC and checked all wires back to firewall (behind LDP). Didn't see anything bad. Will start at injectors tomorrow and check harness. By any chance, do you know where to look for 2001 XJ engine wire diagram with labeled circuits/wire colors? This would definitely speed up the process.
