2001 XJ thumps when going into gear

Default 2001 XJ thumps when going into gear
Have 2001 XJ 4.0 automatic 4x4 that kinda thumps into gear when I shift from park to drive. Shifts and , runs and drives fine otherwise. Any idea what would cause it?

Engine mounts
Transmission mounts
Driveshaft u joints
Exhaust system
Differential is shot

Ever remove the driveshaft and lube the splines at the rear of the transfer case?
