I think I read that they are making this to replace the Liberty.. Certainly does look the same as every other mid-size crossover out there today.. Except for those headlights. Somebody should be fired for that. Although, if you look closely at the picture, there is already a big red self-destruct button on the dash

 

That's an embarrassment to Jeep and every Jeep enthusiast. Dark days.

it's too bad, I bought my wife a really nice looking 2011 Patriot. Yeah it drove nice for about 2k miles then turned to **** and the gas mileage went to hell. I took a loss on it and sold it at 5k miles shortly after we bought it. Best damn thing about it was uConnect. I can't believe that Jeep is going in this direction. It's not really even mod-able to be any type of offroad vehicle really. It's just another "Pretty Box" that is honestly ugly as hell produced by jeep. Havent they already come out with enough of these for the yuppies?

 

I would rather buy the old Comanche down the street, looks more like a JEEP .. not crap

This is an abomination. Headlights are horrendous and stupid looking. A "Cherokee" with slanted asian headlights? Horrible. They updated the post, Jeep says this isn't what is being shown at the auto show. Thank the heavens! This is worse than the Liberty.
