230,000 Miles...Leaking quesition(s)
Welp I hit 230,000 miles today! Yay Jeep! I noticed a few oil spots in the driveway (have changed just about every seal/gasket for the oil except rms) so I wanted to see what the culprit was...
Last week I changed my transfer case fluid and I noticed some red fluid today seeping out of where the transfer case and driveshaft connect (see picture below). I've never noticed this leaking before so I'm wondering if I just added too much fluid or if there is a seal that needs to be replaced.
Next up...Gearbox/PS Pump/PS Lines...
The other spot I noticed was fairly clear-ish, towards the front of the Jeep. I just replaced the timing seal and front seal so again I was curious and investigated. The gearbox itself has a few beads of fluid getting ready to drip off of it. (This does not look normal to me)
The power steering pump has some fluid/gunk build up on it (this looks normal to me)
And now I bring you to the lines coming from the PS pump to the gearbox... These appear to have lots of fluid/greasy build up on them. I traced the lines to the the PS pump and the gearbox and it doesn't look like the fluid/greasyness is trickling from where they enter the pump/gearbox but it looks like it could be from where the rubber hose meets the metal hose.
About a month ago or so my PS fluid was pretty low and very brown, like chocolate brown. So I pumped it all out, filled it up with fluid again (squirting it in/around with a syringe) then pumped it out again, squirted more in/around, pumped it out, then filled it up. I checked my fluid level just now and it doesn't appear that any has leaked out since I topped it off.
Should I be worried about these leaks? Any advice/tips?
Thanks in advance!

Personally I would park it over cardboard for 1 night. Check the oil spots. If they are over like a silver dollar in size I would say probably take care of them. Or atleast deal with the largest ones first. If the leak is not very bad I would just keep adding when low. Esp like PS fluid. I'd be more worried about t case.

What helps a lot is to pressure wash the engine/trans areas very well, steam is even better then you can see exactly where any new leaks are and take care of them.

Just watched a video on replacing the seal, seems pretty easy, but do you think the leaking could be caused due to the tcase being overfilled?
Gonna snag somecardboard from work mon/tues and do this. It'll be much easier now that I have my garage clean!
I've always been nervous to do this... I fear that I'll damage some componets... but now I'm curious if there is a somewhere local who will do a steam cleaning. I wouldn't mind paying the money to have it nice and clean for once haha

Found a guy who will steam clean it for $75,but I might just pressure wash it myself. Engine off or on? I have a pressure washer but I live in an hoa and I'm not sure if I want all that great and gunk to get on the driveway. Will a carwash pressure washer be too strong?
