My transfer case went out on my jeep today and my uncle gave me a 242. My 231 has vacumm switch on top but the 242 doesnt. The 242 is out of a 88 & my jeep is a 89. How do i go about this?

Default

step 1: Plug the vacuum junk and toss the switch
step 2: Either do this: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/fr...ss-91-a-38629/ or install a single-piece passenger axle shaft from an XJ, TJ, YJ, or MJ and install a new seal in the differential.
