Default 242 trans case plug(s) leak?

has anyone had the fill plug and/or the drain plug drip? is it just the seal on the plug goin bad?

Mine needed an o-ring.

Whenever I pull a drain or fill plug, I give it a quick clean with a wire wheel and then put RTV on the threads when I put it back together. Keeps things like this from happening, and usually works better than an O-ring or a fibre washer.
