Default 31" by 10.5 tires would stick out?

Im wondering if 31" tires that r 10.5 inches wide would stick out pretty far from the fender.Dont really like that look.

depends on what size wheel you are running and how much backspacing...

If they are 15x8 cragars they are most likely 4" BS if they are 15x7 3.75" BS. Stock wheels are 5" believe. The lesser the BS the more they will stick out. Someone can probably explain the whole concept.

They won't stick out too far. I had that setup at one point and you couldn't really tell. Here is a pic I found for an idea.

They look great with those flares !!

I have 30's on stock suspension and they will rub on the rear when I have much wieght in it, or when i put a trailer on the hitch etc...

Drew....

Backspacing is the distance from the mounting area of the rim (bolt pattern on inside back) to the inner (rear) bead.

It is a measurement of where your rim/tire is located in relation to your rotor/drum.

The smaller the backspacing the more the tires will stick out.
The bigger the backspacing the less the tire will stick out.

31x10.5's on stock rims with 5.75 BS (I believe)...tucked in ALOT but may cause the tire to rub suspension parts.

31x10.5's on 8" wide rims:
3.75 BS..stick out past OEM flare.
4.00 BS..almost under flare
4.75 BS..inside flare

Is it me or is there alot of being spoken here???
