Default 31's with no lift?

Hey guys new here but not to cherokees. Need to know if anyone has tried running 31's with no lift? I don't care to remove the fender flares. Mine is a 4 door so trimming is out, and this is going to be a daily driver so sway bars will be hooked up still and I am not worried about flexing as much. any input or pics would be helpful , thanks!!

31's will rub without trimming for sure,m 30's may rough at flex or full turns but not bad onroad.

^^X2!! Especially with it being an older one. I'm sure the springs are fatigued, just because it's an 87. You can install a BB for a small financial investment, and run 31s with very little trouble!! HTH!!

2" you can most likely get away with, as long as you don't wheel it. If you wheel it you'll still need to trim a little.

how do you guys feel about the spacers up front that are 3 inches? I am not sure thats what I want to do, but I have thought about that and then a combination of add a leafs and shackles to get a mild lift on it. I like the look of flares and have a spare set off of a previous XJ that I painted black and was planning on using.

get a RE BB and you will be fine. im running a RE BB and a set of 245s on moabs and im not rubbing at all. im actually surprised how much space left in the fenders for flexing- not too much but surprisingly some. this is on a 95 so i have the larger fenders
