The kit will come with new U-bolts.. if you order from RC, MAKE SURE you tell them which rear end you have.. they sent me the wrong U-bolts and I had to go get the correct ones made.

If your jeep is stock then just look up the specific specs for that year.

NP, we are all here to help! I have learned a ton from this site. Never any BS.

Default So what about running 2.5 coil spacers...

i have 2" coil spacers and shackles on now, I just bought a RC 3.5 coils and aal. I was wondering if i can leave the spacers in there? that would make it like 5"+ inches.. would this cause problems?
thanks

Nope, that is what my last Jeep had. You are going to need to address a lot of things like longer control arms, extend the brake lines, change the track bar, etc. But, 3" springs can be used with spacers and shackles.

If you want it done properly, get new springs AND new rear leaf packs. Add-a-leafs WILL sag in the near future, and give you a hard ride in the mean time.

Go with the ADLs if your tight on money and your rear leaves are in good shape.Meaning they are not sagging. If they are sagging then get new leaves. You may need a tc drop if you get vibes. The 3in RC shocks are good for 5in,so you can add spacers and shackles later if you decide.I have the 3in RC and 2in spacers and it runs great. You may need to get a rear brake hose from a 96 4x4 Dakota after you lift. They are 6in longer than stock XJ hose and a direct bolt on.

the kit i got came with: 3" coils, longer control arms, shocks, 2 leafs and clips. im not running a track bar since the bolts broke. Ill probably need to replace this with the added height im thinkin it will have mad body roll. since i put the shackles on last Nov. the leaf springs sit flat (didnt provide ***** for lift) if that happens ill just throw blocks underneath untill i get some time and cash.
Full time college student, just bought a bank repo house this summer. Mad strapped for cash! and cant wait to get my DD back, bike sucks!

When you put on a lift kit they have kit to drope the transfercase or ealse your gona burn up your yolk or you can excstend the drive shafts.
