Default 4.0 fuel injectors leaking!!! all 6

they were leaking so i replaced top and bottom o rings i started it up and still there leaking. more like my truck is peeing gas from under is it possible that ALL 6 injectors are bad??? or is it beacuse i didnt grease my o rings?? any one have ideas??? thanks in advance

idk injectors arent cheap either lol found a set of rebuilt ones for 100 bucks on ebay

I read a article on this exact thing in jp mag,it said that lat 80's and real early 90's(think up to 91) 4.0 had that problem.they said they had to replace all of them.I think they even said they herd of some cherokee's burning to the ground.You can probably find the article on JP'S WEB SITE ,it was a write up on a cherokee,im wanting to say it was on a 90 also.

Did they still have the plastic caps on them. And petroleum jelly and works well also. And it is easier to take off the fuel rail and first pop all of the injectors into the rail. I spent about 2 hours dealing with injectors once.

i did that i put them in the top first then put them in the bottom. i cant realy afford new ones rite now and im gonna need to get to school monday but if all i can do is replace them thats what i gotta do i guess what about pick n pull? i think there cheap there

did you replace the O-rings due to them leaking or because you had them removed.?? maybe you dont have them pressed in far enough?? wrong O-rings? dirty injector seats?

i loosend them tapped the fuel rail tell they went all the way in tightened them and they pulled out a little. o and i replaced them due to leakege

you probally did unless you have the fuel line disconnect tools.........i know when i removed mine i had Tons of carbon deposits under the o-rings. if this want cleaned out on my intake i was sure they wouldnt seat/seal correctly...maybe you need to remove them and check that out.
