I have heard of several people having issues with Titan strokers before. Also you would need a stronger transmission, tcase and axles with all the power youd be putting out.

I dunno - how often do you figure you're actually using both of them?

I could give a whole one. I think the power output might actually cause a new one to drop, come to that.

300 HP at 5000 RPM....HOLY COW!!!!!! Do any of you guys regularly run your 4.0 up to 5000 RPM?! I've done it a couple of times to get up hill in deep slushy snow but, my Jeep sounds like it's literally screaming......not to mention that's when the rev. limiter starts trying to cut in. it's not something I like or want to do on a regular basis.

Well yea your right I would not either. But if I had a 5.0 stroker motor with a custom comp tune and the ability to do it then that is a different story I have only heard of one guy with this done and he uses it for racing not off-roading. Why? you ask. I don't know and never had a chance to ask but it sure is cool.

If I was to do any stroker engine than I would buy a 4.0 & a 4.2 From the junk yard first and not do any pulling or putting in till the engine is ready. That is the easy way but it does cost more time and money.
