4 inch lift
alright so im running a 4 inch suspension lift on 33 inch tires under my 88 cherokee..
im wanting more clearance but dont wanna have to pay for complete suspension lift again.. can i use a block lift on top of the lift or will that raise the center of gravity to much?

You can put spacers in with the coils but you may have some other issues to consider like control arms and maybe SYE plus the rear springs are going to have to be added to or shackles are going to need raising. Extended brake lines. Just a few thoughts.

x2 on what blue said..front coil spacers and rear shackles all the way..plus you will need longer shocks or front and rear mount extensions for your existing ones...You could probably get away with some control arm drop brackets as well..Honestly if I was going any bigger I would strongly look at a long arm solution...

Another post a question and then go hide! Wish they would stick around to give us more info if needed and to benefit from what we are telling them.
At least ARAB had a good reason to go hide.

Have you considered going "flareless" for larger wheel well openings? You can run a 31" with no lift if you go that way, and you keep the C/G lower, as an idea of comparision. Just remember to do something to the edge of the fenders, such as rolling them, to help with the clearance, and to actually help stiffen the fender, so it is less like to bend if you lean something against it (like a tree in my case).

Well, I use a set of "Channelock" pliers to the edge of the fender rolling to the inside, then up into the wheelwell, followed by a small hammer to smooth/speed the process. Make sure that you go back and forth along the fender a couple of times at least, taking small "bites". If you go this route, I suggest that you roll the pinch seam in the wheelwell to the outside/towards the fender so that you can go back and reattach the inner liner to keep mud/debris out of the door opening. The biggest thing is to take your time rolling the fender edge to get the best out of the look.
