I have a cracked cylinder head and I was moving the jeep out of the driveway so the tow truck could pick her up and I noticed my cold idle oil pressure stayed around 45PSI while moving her. Had it running for maybe 2 and a half minutes.

Is that fairly normal or high?

The reason I ask is because most people say (and manual) it should be over 13PSI at idle, but I have a cracked cylinder head and im not sure if that affects it a lot. Just seems that 45 psi is high for cold start up, but that is why I am asking you guys.

It's fine, unless it's spike above 70 or below 10, your fine. Besides, the pressure gauges are known to go bad just like that. I think mine reads 60 + on a cold start and doesn't drop til it's warm.

 

My 00 sit's around that or a little more when cold. Once it's warm it goes down to 20 or so. Running down the highway or under power it is around 50.

 

Ok sounds good. It leads me to believe that my bearings are still good even though I have a cracked head.
