703 injector source?
Went to the local yard yesterday to grab some 703s and they tell me "we don't do those". So I don't have the $$ to buy remans or "professionally cleaned" BS. Anyone know where I can get these on the cheap?

Sorry I should have been a bit more clear. I was trying to get some fuel injectors "#703" that commonly come out of a dodge neon and various other cars. I want to put them in my Jeep but the Junk yard won't sell them to me and I can't afford to buy new or reconditioned ones.

I know I don't HAVE to get 703s I just know they're easy to come by. Honestly I have no idea why the won't sell them to me, I have a few more yards I can try but most of the yards around here pull the parts for you and I don't much care for that. I am hoping to get them for $40 for the set of 6. I found some on ebay for $33 a set (4) so just about $70 which isn't bad I'm just super broke seeing as my hours at work cut cut nearly in half and the girlfriend likes to pop tires.

It can leave an otherwise "serviceable" engine vulnerable to getten fouled up. Not to mention it will need injectors. My local guy agreed when I offered to bring my old ones to at least plug the holes. Ended up going to Pick'n Pull on a trip out out town. ($8 each after some fee and tax). Lotta work. 9 out of 10 Neon's didn't have 703's. If there is a red clip, forget it. Also they are black. I forget, Sea-breeze or LaBarron had a set. Take a good light and a lens. Look for "squinty eye" headlights!
Just washed my hands, took me about an Hr. to put them in my 90. The 703's are slightly different in that the slots for the clips, (NECESSARY!), are just on the sides. You really want to get them clipped on the rail first. It seems the clips hold them in the proper spot for the O rings to ride where they belong.
All gravel here. On a short test drive I "broke traction" a few times, without really trying! Wish I'd have checked vacuum before the swap. It now seems to provide the same acceleration with less throttle.
I didn't try to "reset" my Renix ECU. I'll be posting my mileage, here if I can find it, and in notop's thread.

Thanks for the post Flinstone. I appreciate all the information, I was aware of the different vehicles they come from and motor sizes but had no idea what to look for other than part numbers.

Will do CPT Yea Dr. I took notes and searched a bunch before hand. Then ****ed up and had to do it quick on the AM I was going out. THEN discovered that without good sun I couldn't see the numbers. THEN a rail bolt got a little stuck in my socket. I tapped it.....and the socket made a little arc and disappeared somewhere below a Neon's brake booster. Anyway, I got 8 thinking I'd find another 4 here and sell a set.
