I'm going to put a set of 33x12.50x15s on my 94 XJ. Its a daily driver with some NY Winter snow. Should I go with 8" or 10" wheels, also Aluminum or steel Thanks..

There will be no sealing difference from the 8's or the tens. Only thing is the tens will look stupid.
Aluminum will most likely crack when bent, steel is very malleable and if bent can easily be bent back without further damage.

All of the tire mfgs recommend 8.5" min rim width to 11" max on their 33X12.50 tires and all of the tire mfgs list a 10" rim as measured rim width in their "spec tables". This subject was recently discussed, try the search function. Don't take my word for it, look at the charts......click "specs".

If it is only going to be a DD it will not make any difference if you run 8" or 10" inch rims, or steel or aluminum. If on the other hand you will be using it to do trails, or rocks, or snow go with the 8" rim.

The reason why 8 inch rims are better for off road is that they allow you to air down your tires more for off roading without as much concern of losing grip between the wheel and the tire. They fit more snugly even when aired down...... if off roading is not mainly what you are looking to do then like it was stated above, its all personal preference as to what you like the looks of better...
