8.8 ford axle swap
i was wondering if an 8.8 out of a 92 mercury grand marquis will work under my xj. ive been told that some of them the differential?pinion is slightly offset. i need to know if the car ones are offset or not.

You have to check the width. Do some searching as you can find lots of info on doing the swap. You would be better getting one from an explorer or mountaineer.

Just a few good write ups. I'm doing the same swap this winter.
