Thanks a bunch for the info Automan and JeepCoMJ. I would love to have it, but I can't afford to take care of it like it should. I'm lookin for somethin that would require little maintenance since I'll have my 89 to work on. If I had the spare time and money, I would ****** it up in a heartbeat. I'm hoping a few years from now I'll be able to find another one to restore and take care of, to continue my collection of the XJ. I want to eventually have an old diesel, a v6, a waggy, my renix, a mid 90s, a post 97, and an MJ from both the 80s and early 90s. I have many aspirations, haha. It's a shame that it might go to someone that doesn't know much on it, but I have to do what's financially better for me. Times are hard for a college kid, and it's technically my dad's money going to a car so I gotta listen to him also. He thought the jeep was cool, but he said to pass on it for now and find one later to work on.

Datsun Z.... That's showing some age there. Did a water pump on one once when I had my shop.

I was parts and service manager at a dealership. Specialized in Zs and Nissan Patrols.

That had to be a blast, they don't make them like that anymore. Such a shame. A local pick and pull has a pristine 81 Z that's getting pieced out cause they can't get clear title.

Yep. a blast. I built a Z with a 3030cc stroker motor, triple Mikunis, custom suspension. Kinda miss it. Rolling start burnouts in 1st gear.....
