Side note,

Here is something for you. I noticed that the lights/blinkers work but the wiper and heat/air blower does not. I have changes the fuses. Could this be something with the ignition switch?

There are fusible links on the starter relay that act as master fuses for the rest of the Jeep. One of those are probably shot or you forgot to attach it when you changed it out

Thanks for helping me through this. I have worked on my cars all of my life. Electrical is one thing that gets me every time! So thank you for your help.

Can you tell me where a fuseable link would be found?

They are the thick orange and green wires that come off the main post of your starter relay. They usually have a fat rubber covered connection on them. They act as fuses and don't always show to be burned. I replaced mine with automotive relays

Default Found it!

So I finally found the issue. A buddy of mine who was an old school mechanic came to visit. I told him that I couldn't find what the issue was. I told him that I chased every wire I could without success. I was ready to pour 5 gallons of gas and throw a match at it. He asked me if I checked my ignition switch? I asked a couple of question and he was able to point it out to me because This is the switch that you have to move with your finger to turn the key. This switch is under the dash on top of the steering column. A very difficult spot to get to. So after removing the seat and getting under the dash I reached up to start to pull the component out and noticed that one of the plugs that plug into the switch was very lose and pretty much fell out in my hand. So I reached up and plugged it in firmly and guess what. The damn thing started!

2 months of frustration gone!

Thanks for all of the tips peeps.

Happy trails to all!

A 4.3L was a good motor, however it was a lot of work and now Chevy is no longer supporting it. I can't keep injectors in it. Hence it is coming out. But a good engine that you can get parts for is the 3.4L Chevy V6, and it will bolt right in. There are some motors with more displacement on the same block also. It would be your best option
