Default 89 Cherokee D30... Need some info

I'm looking to buy a d30 out of a 89 cherokee I found on CL for 60$. Guy went to swap in a ax15, 242 tcase, and a 3 inch lift. Ran into nothing but problems, decided to part it out. Motor runs strong, has 200k, the axel has the same mileage. I wanted to know spline count, gears, and whether its high or low pinion. Thanks

if it was a 5 speed itll have 3.07 gears... if it was a automatic itll have 3.55's or 3.54's... same thing... but if it was a 4 banger then it could have 3.73's... 4.10's... itll be a high pinion... which is good... if its got ABS your better off with the stronger axle joints...

Had a Ba10, 6 cyl. I need a d30 for my sas liberty project. I plan on running 35-37 range so I know 4.88's, upgraded shafts, heavier u-joints, are gonna be in the rebuild. But for 60$ as long as the housing was straight, it'd be a great start. Strip it, sell the carrier and shafts, and hopefully break even. Im in no rush to find one, but the price made me seriously think about snatching it up.

I have a friend who needs the internals, he has a 92 with a 4 speed auto, I wanted to know if any of the parts would be usable for him.
