'89 cherokee still having high idle 1750rpm!
Alright so ive been trying to figure out my high idle problem for the longest time and still have gotten no further in fixing it. Its a stock renix 4.0. the vacuum lines are all new and connected where they should, new IAC and TPS(adjusted it too and didn't help a thing). Intake manifold bolts are tight no leaks. I don't want to blow out another u-joint just by putting it in gear from the high rpm's. someone have any feedback as to what else could cause this?

Do you have the c101 connector? The early 89's had them. After throwing parts at my 88 it ended up being the c101 connector.
