So, im trying to change the hub assemblies on my 89 jeep Cherokee pioneer, and the part number that the auto zone gives me is Timken 513107, nothing wrong with that, until I change them out and immediately notice a difference in the hub assemblies, but I decide to swap them anyway after I swap them out I put my xj into drive and it wouldnt move unless I gave it gas, and it lopes around, figuring something was horribly wrong I decided to give them a look and sure enough the wheel bearings look like they exploded, thinking they were just crappy I get a new set. Same thing happens. through research I come to realize that the hub assemblies look like the 513084 series hub assemblies. before I order them I just want to ask if I should just buy those and keep it moving and has anyone else had this problem, or is there just something not right. This just dosent make sense to me. Thanks in advace

there are 2 different hub units for the xj. pre early 99 and late 99 and up.

you obviously got the wrong ones. the part store did the same to me recently (new town/new part supplier). so get the other part number.

one has a wider flange that sticks out into the wheel hub opening where the other is shorter and the difference between hub mounting surface to wheel mounting surface is different also. so yours are causing the brakes to be applied, that
