89 Power Locks stopped working
A few months ago my power locks stopped working. When attempting to lock or unlock via the switch on the driver's door, nothing happens. No noise at all. However.... I can unlock everything from the passenger door. I was hoping the fact that the passenger door unlock switch still works would make it easier to identify what the issue is. Any ideas?

Check the wiring in the boot leading to the driver's door. They flex and flex and flex and finally break.

Months later, when installing something via fuse tap in the fuse box, my power locks went out entirely. I think it was a case of bad timing, however it's possible I messed something up while down there. Been out of the country but just got back. Planning on looking again for broken wires tomorrow. When I did a brief check, didn't see any issues. Is there anything else that could cause them to not work entirely?

Did a quick inspection as the sun went down. Looks like the previous owner did some additions of the wiring? The wires coming out of the door no longer go straight to the disconnects under the carpet, lots of splices but eventually lead to the connects. Couple disconnected wires. I think I'm going to get rid of the extra stuff and try to get it wired back like normal.
