ok got it running today and ill report my findings unlike some people on this forum.well i read somewhere in a forum where a guy was having problems while his jeep was running it was cutting out,not starting then running again.so someone told him to tap on the icm with a hammer while it was running to see if it hesitated .so i thought i would just hit it while i cranked it to see if anything happened and guess what,it started. replaced icm now runs and starts just fine problem solved. thanks for all those that tried to help it was greatly appreciated. now i can finally enjoy this jeep.

oh the icm tested good at oriellys but it did not pass the hammer test.just to let people know it may pass at the store but may still have problems internally .

I only carry a small ball -pien, a normal hammer, and a 3 Lb. single jack. (OK, and a three foot bar and a couple others.....

About 50 years ago I saw this in my dad's tools and though it was pretty neat. Now it's 8-1/2 inches long, I broke it and needed to re-fit the head.
