89 XJ Vacuum Reservoir hose sizes
Hi all,
Does anyone know the vacuum hose sizes that are going to and from the Vacuum Reservoir in an 89 XJ? Trying to replace all hoses as the air is just coming through the windshield vents. Just purchased the from Amazon to replace my current reservoir, although Amazon says it will not fit my 1989 XJ, I know the sizes of those connectors but if I have to modify or get an adapter for anything would like to know or get some advice.
thanks!

I don't know the size of the lines, but you can get a vacuum tank/ball from a wrecking/u pull yard and if you are lucky you can get some sections of hard line as well. I keep a spare "ball" as accidents happen! That particular vacuum route usually supplies the vent selection, the cruise and one other I think. They do get fragile with age and heat!

If I recall correctly I redid my 88 with a spool of 3/16" vac line. Try picking up a foot from a local auto parts store to make sure before you go whole hog.
