Matt’s Off-road Recovery XJ Banana is setup that way. For a living, he spends his day recovering all sorts of high dollar four wheelers from sand, mud, snow etc.

Matt's XJ has a Detroit locker in the front and a Power lock limited slip in the rear. However I prefer a True track front and Detroit locker rear over that, or Detroit lockers in both axles.

I can’t even find any reference to a “Detroit Yukon style locker.” I wonder what that means?
The crazy thing is the it sounds like the Spicer Power Lok is a Torsen type of limited slip traction solution.

I stand corrected for sure. Listened to the video again. Matt had a “Detroit Yukon style locker in the front and a Spicer Power Lok in the rear.”

A Yukon Grizzly is pretty much a copy of a Detroit Locker. A Power lock is a clutch type limited slip, but it is one of the best clutch limited slips you can get because it has the ability to increase pressure on the clutches to help it lock up better when it starts to slip, way better design than a Track Lock.

Given that an autolocker or lsd in the front can give some "interesting " street driving charectoristics, I choose an Eaton true trac in the rear, and a selectable locker (arb) in the front. the rear works automatically when slip happens, great for street and off road. and my front stays free for street use, as it should, but when needed off road, I push a button and the front is locked for difficult trail use.
