'93 Cherokee 4.0 Air/Oil Filter
I am in the process of doing a full tune-up on my newly aquired 1993 Cherokee Laredo 4.0 I-6 and when I removed the air filter it has some engine oil on it as well as some oil on the intake boot. What would cause this?

It is called "blowby" and is common on older XJs. It can be minimized by cleaning the breaters that come from the top of the valvecover. Try this cheap fix, no guarantees. HERE
