I've put many starters into my Cherokee. It always seems to fry the solenoids to where Ill have to crawl under and cross the two terminals on it with the key on to start it. Now where I am its cold, and lately Ill hop in and crank it, and it will turn for about a second and stop as if it got stuck and the starter will keep whining til I let go of the key. Ill have to do this a few times with pauses in between cranks before it starts. When it starts, it seems to bog for a few seconds before it gets to normal idle. Why is it every starter I put in, seem to go?
