Well, most Jeeps don't have them. At least not the older ones.

Sadly, unless you go for a V8 Grand or Commander, it's pretty hard to find a trail-capable modern Jeep that doesn't have a V6.

(And no, the "Trail-Rated" Compass 2.4 does not count in my eyes.)

Well, don't get me wrong, it's a six-cylinder engine - but it's a straight-six (or I6), rather than a V6. At least, for a '95, it should be...

The only Cherokees with V6 engines (from General Motors) were built from 1984-1986, and most accounts say that they basically suck. The Jeep straight-six used from 1987-2001, on the other hand, tends to be bulletproof with proper care.

From the listing...

Apparently, it's a "TRUE MAN'S utility vehicle" according to the seller.

My thoughts? Well, the pics are too small to tell much about it, but it has really nice window tint. Mileage-wise, 190k is about average for a '94 (13k a year). However, the front bumper seems very bent - can't tell if it's deep enough to have bent the fender or not, but that's worth looking at.

In short...I dunno. Probably deserves a closer look.

As Duncan stated earlier look that front-end over good underneath to see how far the damage goes. It's definitely been hair lipped.

I kinda feel the same way - there are enough stock XJs available out there that it's not worth guessing whether someone else's custom work was good or not. I mean, this one's not heavily modified, but you just never know.
