Default 94 jeep cherokee sport riding rough

I just replaced the factory shocks with new Gabriel shocks and it rides like a brick **** house. Maybe even worse than before replacing them. Have been searching for answers but have not had any luck. Could anyone explain why it still does this? Any info sure helps! Thanks!

Need more of a description.

New shocks usually make for a stiffer ride.
If you are looking for a soft ride put your old shocks back on.
Shocks are to keep a vehicle from bouncing too far and too long!

I'm not sure I've never used them but my guess is no. It's a good idea to check the lug nuts on spacers from time to time though

If you want more of a soft ride skyjacker makes a soft ride shock. I got them and with a 3" lift it rides alright but not to smooth. It's still a lifted jeep
