Default 94 XJ gauge cluster

I have attempted to search through the forum and haven't had any luck finding a solution. My 94 has the upgraded gauge cluster (no dummy lights) and when I bought it a couple weeks ago the lights did not work but the gauges did. I pulled the cluster and found some of the copper on the back melted a little so figured that was the cause of no lights. When I plugged the cluster back in, the gauges no longer work. I have checked my connections and they seem to be fine, not dirty or corroded. The only other thing was after pulling the cluster I started to work on the PO "experienced" wiring and the IGN single promg fuse under the dash popped, no power going to it anymore. Could that be connected to the gauge issue? I still haven't found out how to restore power to that IGN fuse either.

I'm guessing you jostled something back in there when you pulled the cluster... I'd pull it again and take a look for pinched connections or other signs of buggered stuff...

That is unless you did something during the "I started to work on" thing... you might provide more detail on what exactly you did right before that.

What cause the ign plug to pop I am unsure off. I was rolling up the windows (which I had been able to do for a day or two) and I heard a pop then no worky. Since then I have bought some manual window regulators and started to unwire all he had done in the door. Which was power windows, speakers and an attempt at power locks. Tho there was never a way to lock or unlock said "power" locks
