Default 95 4 door - 95 2 door

I may be able to get a rust free 95 Cherokee 2 Door to replace my rusted out and damn near dead 4 door 4x4.

My question is, will I be able to swap out the front axle from my 4 door 4x4 to the 2 door?

I am assuming I will have to change the transmissions/drive shafts as well?

yes, you can swap the axle over.

if the "new" one is 2x4, you have to swap the trans, transfercase, shifters, driveshafts, complete front brakes (calipers...complete axle ***'y), and you have to verify that the gears in your front axle are the same as what's in the rear axle on the "new" one.

...if the "new one" is an auto and your old is a 5 speed, or vice-versa, then the engine bay harness and computers also need to be swapped along with the pedal assembly.

exactly what I need to know. I'll find out tomorrow if the deal goes through. I believe it is a 5 speed rear wheel drive only. Thanks guys
