So I am in the middle of installing a motor. I am curious to know where I should have grounds, under the hood? When I removed the old motor, all I found was the head to firewall and fender to block ground. There were two spades bolted to the side of the block, under the ignition coil, but no wirees anywhere to be found. Also on the transmission dipstick tube; spade but no wire.

Hopefully I found what was needed. One wire coming from the passenger side fender to the block, the one from the fire wall. There were three hanging from the wiring harness against the fire wall, on the passenger side, with spades on them. I am presuming these bolt to the dipstick?

I have one coming from the inner fender to battery... From battery to block... From head to firewall.. three wires on dipstick and there is another one attached to a nut on the alternator; no idea where it goes. The three on dipstick are either 16 or 18 gauge. The firewall one is 4 gauge... The rest are 8 gauge.
