Default 95 xj codes

So i have a 1995 xj 2wd and about a month ago i replaced my battery and everything has been fine since then. Until 3 days ago when my check engine light came on. When i do the key thing 3 times to get the flashing light codes it shows codes 41 and codes 47. Would this be the altenator?

I drive a 2wd 95 xj also i used to have a code 41 only and it was the ECM i dont know about yours but if battery won't charge check with a voltmeter the green wire to ECM you should have 13 volts from alternator to ECM.

So you had to replace the ECM? Theres very rarely a 2wd xj in the junk yards in my erea. Will a 4wd and different year work in my 1995? I do not have a guage on my dash so how do i check to see if i am getting the correct 14 volts to the battery?

Ok i'm getting one tomorrow. If my voltage regulator is bad it is in my ecm, can i buy one of those from a auto parts store? I watch this video that has some little kid doing repairs but it is wacked. When u went to the web site for a write up it did not exist. Here's the link for video and does this work not to trigger the check engine light?
