So I replaced my factory fuel pump a couple of months ago and installed below pump assembly I bought of off rockauto but this one stopped working a couple of days ago.

​​​​​​I put it apart and found out that the pump itself is just a regular pump like any other pump in other vehicles, but I cannot find locally any pump that matches the stock pressure specs for an XJ so I am wondering if I'll runn into problems in the future if I put an 80-100psi bosch pump that I can put on today.

Compare the specs with the $15 Autobest pump on RockAuto for your 95 XJ... Within reason, you can't have too much flow, or too high a max pressure; the pressure regulator will keep everything in check.

 

that's what I thought, just wanted someone with more knowledge to confirm
