Actually- if you have 10' or so of wire laying around, that may not be a bad idea. Keeps you out from under the Jeep while testing.
Great idea. I have some romex lying around. I will use that. Thanks for the idea.

Okay, so I checked out the starter cables as suggested by everyone. I actually checked the voltage to the wire that goes to the solenoid. Its that wire with the small nut on the starter. I unplugged the connector near the fuse/relay box and got probe the voltage there when I turned the key on and tried to crank...no voltage. I also measured the continuity on all cable going to the starter and all are good. If I pull out the starter relay in the fuse box an probe the socket, shouldn't I get some voltage there? Already tried swapping the relays and it didn't help....its not the relay. Maybe I should concentrate on the ignition switch? It was replaced few years ago and maybe it's bad again.

That little wire gets power through the start relay in the PDC.
Does that Start relay in the PDC click on when you turn the key to "start"?
Might need a helper to check that.
If there is no voltage at that relay socket at all, and both fuses are good, time to check the ignition switch.

Did you try to bump the starter by shorting the two large terminals? Did it kick over?

Success (sort of) ! I removed the Nuetral Safety Switch today and cleaned it up. I could see right away that one of he spring loaded contacts was collapsed inside so it was not making contact. I reassembled it and the jeep started right up. It will start in park, but the shift has to be a pushed little towards reverse to start in neutral. Not sure how to adjust this.
Thanks everyone for helping me with this. I learned a lot about my jeep. This is my project vehicle for when I retire I a few years.
By the way, it was tough getting the NSS out. I didn't want to damage it so I took my time.

Awesome! Nothing better than a no-cost fix
If you loosen the NSS you can rock it forward and backward a bit to adjust it's operation.
