95 xj tranny question
ok so here goes, i have a 95 jeep cherokee. my question is, i have a transmiission (ax15) i bought from a guy. and for some reason there was "atf" in it. he said that it was better then the oil its suppose to have in it. is this true?? and another question i have is my jeep is a 4x2 that i wanna build into a 4x4. my jeep has a ax15 in it, just no chunk to bolt on a t-case. my new one does, the only thing i worry about is the input shaft. the new one i have is 3/4 inch input, will this fit my aplication? i have a 4.0 ho. any advice is helpfull thanks!!

Many manual trans applications call for ATF these days. Double check the specs for the vehicle the trans came out of. The trans you bought should swap. What did it come out of?
