What's your experience with quality fit, performance, et?

None. Owning '00 with 0331 head you have a tendency to educate yourself just case.
6 years ago when I bought my Jeep I had no idea if the head was good or not.
Was a kinda running not really drive-able purchase. Nothing crazy though.
I just did not know what condition the head was in after I straightened her out a little and punched her through emissions.
As time went she seemed to behave herself so I did more. The more she behaved herself the more I did.
But worst case scenario I wanted to know what kind of options I had and came across that adapter while doing my research.

Using a '96 header on a '96 engine there would be no adapter.
But there is more to consider. First you still have to swap things over to change it to a distributorless engine. And change anything else that might apply. Not sure what else
You have to make a mount for your coil bar.
You still have to get your O2 sensors positioned where they need to be. But since you have a Federal Emissions vehicle this should not be much of a problem.
And you have to realize that you will be piecing together an exhaust. The 2 exhaust manifolds and the Y pipe are being replaced with the header.
The intermediate or down pipe as it is sometimes referred to on your '00 has a flange that connects to the Y pipe. I am guessing it will be a different flange on the header.
So on and so forth.
And if this vehicle was manufactured before 1/00 I have no idea how the exhaust is set up cause I believe they changed it after that date.
Remember all this has to work with the '00 ECM.
If you had a CA Emissions vehicle this would be a little more complicated.
Also be aware doing stuff like this is just ideas that I have thought of.
Have never tried to do any of this.
