96 XJ Heater Control Valve
Hello!
I am new to the XJ life, and just this past weekend my heater control value started leaking. My brother and I saw almost everybody deletes it and just has two hoses.
My question with deleting it, is does the heater and vents still work? Mine currently does not blow heat with it deleted.
thanks!!

Heat and vents work the same after deleting the valve. Only difference is the coolant will now be flowing thru the core all the time.
I have seen the vacuum line going thru the firewall broken. You will still have heat with a broken line, but only for the windshield. Defrost only. Its a default. Do you have defrost only? If yes, thats my guess. A broken vacuum line.
