97-01 factory amp wiring harness ?

Question 97-01 factory amp wiring harness ?
Talked to a guy parting out a wrecked 99 that has the factory infinity amp in it.

What I need to know is if it carries a seperate harness that needs to be pulled with the amp and sent , or if all XJ have the harness for the amps hidden up under the carpet ?

I pulled mine back as far as i could under the rear seat where the factory amps mount at and didnt find any loose plugs.

I dont think they come pre wired for the amp. You may have to pull the harness as well.

X2 I wouldn't waste to much time on it the infinity system isn't as good as ya think, paper speakers etc. Not much better than flea market stuff lol

yeah. wasnt gonna mess with the speakers but figured the amp might be worth a $20 upgrade.

Much easier to buy a cheap amp and hook it up, factory wiring is a pita!!! Lol
