It was asked earlier but I didn't see an answer......is your temp gauge needle at about the middle of the gauge?

Just tried to flush my heater core and I got zero water through the system. Removed both hoses and cleaned them thoroughly (they were very clogged). What should my next step be?

Did this...

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/he...topics/1266369

Couldn't flush out whatever buildup is in there enough to get the water to flow from one hose out the other.

There's that crazy diagram again that shows the hoses reversed at the firewall.

Took the cap off my radiator after my failed heater core flushing attempt to make sure my coolant level is good, this is what I found..

The hose that goes from the fill neck to the overflow bottle is completely blocked with calcium or whatever this crap is. Figure this is causing my low operating temperatures and no heat problem. How should I tackle this?

Remove the heater hose and the rad hose from the t-stat cover. Remove the bottom rad hose from the water pump. Stick a garden hose in the heater hose and flush, flush, flush. Stick the garden hose in the heater hose nipple on the stat cover and flush, flush, flush. Stick the garden hose in the top rad hose and flush, flush, flush.

That pic is really bad and many flushes may, may not work. A cooling system doesn't get like that overnight, lots of neglect there.

Read my sig.
