Default 97 xj speed sensor

I bought a new sensor and it has a separate pigtail harness and the colors are not the same as the factory. What wires do I splice into for it to work?

Not really in my wheel house but I do have a '97 FSM so....

So thinking this is the pin out for what you need.
This is LHD cause there is a separate one for RHD.
Best I can tell the wire colors match what is in your picture so....
Please realize also that I am not overly confident in my answer so...
LOL.

So I just splice in the new wires to the old ones?

That is what I think.
The color of the wires in the pinout seem to match what is in your picture.
Since the wires on the new pigtail do not match those wires you use wire position instead of wire color.

OK, so the new pigtail and sensor should be the same as the old right like the signal of the wires going to the new plug?
