hi all, i'm new to jeeps, just picked up a 98 cherokee today and i love it. im looking to clean up the exterior a little bit, and wanted to throw a nicer set of wheels on there. i found a set of these local for cheap and wondered if they'd fit.



theyre 17x8, 5x4.5 off of a 2008 jeep

also a recommended tire size would be appreciated. im currently sitting on a stock suspension. many thanks in advance.

*edit* a heads up for random problems or any useful info about these cherokees would also be appreciated.

 

Those are the moab wheels. They made them with the same bp as the cherokee up untill like 2003ish I may be wrong on the year.. But as long as there are 5 on 4.5 your good. 30X9.5 inch tires fit on stock xjs. you may have a little rub at full turn.

 

Yes, they will fit. Broncofire75 has them on his '98.
