going to try a new ignition coil i guess

 

I just did a bunch of maintenance to my Cherokee, it started great than died, after a few days and help from members. I found my coil was bad, the secondary had no ohms. They are easy to test if you have a meter. 1.1 ohm for primary and I think 1245 ohm for secondary.

My first impression here was CPS - Crank Position Sensor. My '96 was a no start at 150K miles for that problem.

 

If the cps was bad wouldn't I not have fuel either? My injectors are firing I just have no spark

 

Incorect. Cps fires spark. Cam sensor fires injectors.

 

Ok so I probably do need a new cps ugh

 

System? Just a cps. Around $40 and less than an hours time

 

I've looked at prices 67$ and up

 

Look at better places. I paid 39.95 for my last one

Lol I spaced checking there and I recently bought the fuel pump from there. Duh lol

If your plugs are dry youre not getting fuel
They would be dripping if you werent getting spark and you were always cranking attempting to start
