Have you check the transmission and motor mounts yet??

 

I have checked the motor mounts and the trans mount, they check out ok visually. I revved it up and the engine barely moved, doesnt give me an exact answer since the engine could move a lot more when driving. Im quite certain the noise is coming from the rear end, Iv driven with my head out the window listening. Just to be safe Il look into some poly mounts, but for the time being I think its related to the rusted cracked shackles or the play in the rear diff. If I tear into the 8.25 I have decided on the aussie locker
