I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4. Bought 4 years ago imediateley had a computer issue, tracked down after stressfully trying 3 computers until got the right one worked ran great. Last year tranny broke so ipulled and rebuilt myself worked great. Engine started idle wrong running bad replaced crank possition sensor worked great. 2 months ago broke a piston. Vehicle running great but obvious tapping sound. Pulled engine tore down saw pistone rebuilt. While botome end brand new pistons rings bearing cam crank lifters rods all new put it back together running slightly bad kind of missing replaced crank possition sensor again fearing when i stabed motor might have damaged it. Ran great again drove it 1 week ran like a champ. Then started throwing codes 0181 fuel teml 0765 shift solinoid 015d 02 sensor 0353 coil 3 , cleared these codes ran great another 2 days then went to start and had 1391 cps another crank sensor code wouldnt start. Tried replacing crank possitiin sensor again maybee got a bad one and tried to start it cranked then back fired and grenaded the air box into a bunch of pieces wont start just cranks and stops. Now im at a complete loss. I can rebuild trannys and engine but im at a loss with computers. Please any ideas i can run through. Im fearing computer bad again.....
