Default 99 xj code 121, 123

last week my CEL came on. but it was running ok except one bad mis on the highway.

I bought a code reader the next day. and pulled code 123 and 443. cleared them. drove for a few days no light. this morning at start up. CEL. with 443 only. cleared. wasn't too concerned as it's emissions? drove 200+ miles highway with no CEL then the CEL with big misfires / bucking. I figured it was the tps code again. had to limp it home with light throttle another 50 miles. and now have code 121 and 123.

should I just change the TPS? is there a way to test it?
is it just a pop in part? or does it need to be adjusted once installed for open / closed throttle?

any ideas on the 443?

Default

so a few mins of googling and a few mins of testing. I get 5.16v on pins 1-3 with the TPS unpluged and car on. I get 5kohms pin 1-3 on the TPS. and on both pin 1-2 and 2-3 I get a sweeping 1.5k to 4k ohms with throttle open to close. (one going from open to close and one going from close to open as it should)

so it seems ok... I guess it could have an intermittent bad spot. or could be something else.

the other issue I've had the past few weeks is big water leaks into the front floor boards. so it could also be a water under the dash issue? though seems odd it would happen 200miles into a trip that had the heater on the whole time. if anything it would have happened early in day.

also for the past month it's had a bit of a bad idle. sometimes good, sometimes at 1200rpm. and somethings hunting under 500rpm and barley going. would this also indicate the tps?

I've also read something about clock springs causing the 121 and 123?
