Default '99 XJ front left right brake line

I am in the process of refurbishing a neglected '99 XJ I recently inherited. The brakes are in bad shape, including calipers and hard lines.

I have purchased a set of SS lines from Classic Tube and am about ready to start the project. Looking at the hard line from the master cylinder to the right front wheel is pretty intimidating.

Any tips on installing the new line? It comes pre-bent, with an extra bend about mid way so it fits in the shipping box.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, this job sucks, I did it 2 years ago on my 99. Cut the zip ties for the wiring harness that goes across the firewall. The brake like will go in, don't be too concerned with bending it a bit when you need to. Just keep at it, don't rush, and you'll get it.

If its like mine the front right one was the pain in the *** one but luckily it was a two piece which helped a lot but still had to do some bending by hand.

I have seen brake line sets that have a connector about the middle of the firewall. Unfortunately the one I bought is all one piece. I just dread trying to thread it back there with everything else on the firewall

I'm sure it can be done just not looking forward to it...

I had to replace that brake line in a '96 I used to own.
I was just buying premade from the auto parts store
but did it in 2 pieces with a union that was located pretty
much in the center of the firewall.
Just looking at it I knew that doing one line would be a pain.
