Hey guys. In a bit of a dilemma. I have a 99 xj, that I love, and I have had it for over 5 years now. Anyways, a few weeks back after I shut it off and took the key out of the ignition, the radio stayed on, there is power to the windows, and the wipers would work. I immediately jumped on here and read the backlog of the issue. So, here is what I did. I changed the Key Tumbler, and Ignition Switch, with no prevail. Checked Relays under the hood, also not the problem. I took out, cleaned all the grounds, and bolted them back in with copper anti seize. Cleaned the terminals, posts on the battery, anything of that nature. And chased some wires, and found there was a couple busted in the loom between the door frame and the door. Fixed those, and pretty much nothing. There is still power to the interior, but the windows wont go down, and the wipers wont go while the key is out of the ignition, but there is a whole lot of clicking going on in the glove box area when I try to turn the wipers on. Also, when I re hook the negative terminal, there is a clicking from the glovebox area and then some kind of noise that sounds like a fan motor or something is running. Im assuming the clicking is relays? Not really sure where to go from here. I have read it could potentially be the PCI but I don't know if I really want to get into all of that. Any help is greatly appreciated!
