I am getting rid of my D35 for 9inch that i just bought. Any tips on where to look for parts to make it fit? Thanks for the help!

Depends on what the 9" came out of. If it's a car 9" then all you need are spring perches and shock mounts and most fab suppliers like Blue Torch and Balistic have those. If it came from a truck it's full width and roughly 5-6 inches wider than the 35 and you will need to narrow it or find a way to make the front the same width and wheel spacers that wide are a bad idea. The truck axle also has the wrong bolt pattern but you can redrill axles and brakes or just buy new shaft to fix that.

What about putting a spool in the rear? I have a full float kit for my D35 with locking rear hubs. I need to rebuild it but it's in good shape. Could I use it instead of the 9?
